The Clear Lake City Library has been awarded an American Rescue Plan Grant from the South Dakota Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities in the amount of $10,931.

This grant will provide the means and materials to take storytime on the road in our community! The Clear Lake City Library will be visiting local daycare facilities, preschools and even homeschool groups, sharing a story and activities with the children. Additionally, this grant will also fund Friday Funday programs at the library. Friday Fundays will provide children with the opportunity to explore their world through literature, art, and science and develop a love of reading and learning.

The grant programs will continue until November of 2022. The Clear Lake City Library is dedicated to providing opportunities for the youth of our community to explore and create through literature, art, and the sciences.
